Ecosystem support policy

Browser support

Cimpress UI fully supports the last three major versions of the following browsers:

• Chrome
• Chrome for Android
• Edge
• Firefox
• Firefox for Android

Additionally, Cimpress UI fully supports the last major version of the following browsers:

• Safari
• Safari on iOS

Support for the previous major version of Safari will be dropped approximately 6 months after the release of a new major version.

Note

We will occasionally use features supported by a subset of the browsers listed above. Such usages will only serve as progressive enhancement, and will never result in the core functionality being restricted.

React version support

Cimpress UI currently supports the following React versions:

• 16.14
• 17.x
• 18.x
• 19.x

We recommend keeping your React version up to date, since support for older versions will be dropped in the future.

TypeScript support

Cimpress UI is currently compatible with all versions of TypeScript higher than 4.7.0.

We recommend keeping your TypeScript version up to date, since support for older versions will be dropped in the future.

Going forward

Cimpress UI aims to be a modern library, and the web ecosystem moves forward at a fast pace. Therefore, we reserve the right to make changes to our ecosystem support policy, and to unilaterally drop support for tools/versions that we deem outdated. Such changes will be announced by the team well in advance, and will be included in the next major update.
